Hakme Recommendation List

I am not sure if everything on Sephora site would be eligible for this discount, but I quickly went through the Black Friday Sale Page (link) and picked out the ones that I have personally used, liked and would repurchase. Of course you can try to see if any of your personal favourites would be of discount too. Never hurt to try. Here we go…

Skincare

  • Drunk Elephant B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum (link): a nice and affordable hydrating serum which I think is suitable for different skin types, I have used up a few bottles myself
  • Drunk Elephant The Littles™ 4.0 (link): this contains a bit of everything and it’s great if you want to explore the brand and see which items would work for you before committing to a full size
  • Drunk Elephant Lala Retro™ Whipped Cream (link): this is a really nice cream with great texture, not too light and not too heavy, great for our Autumn and Winter, and the best thing is that skin is very soft and smooth after using it
  • fresh Soy Face Cleanser (link): if you have been following me for a long time, you would have known that this is the one item that I still recommend from fresh after 10 years of being online. If you haven’t try, you need to now
  • First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (link): quite a few sizes are sold out now, only the small size left but it’s great if you want to go it a go. This is my newly discovered favourite, I use it on my face and on my body, if you have eczema, I would highly recommend you try it. It’s light, so it’s not heavy (which doesn’t cause you to break out like crazy) and you can reapply anytime you want. My skin is in major breakout now and my skin has been agreeing with this product
  • First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub With 10% AHA (link): I have been on my second bottle with this body scrub, I just love how effective it is and how silky smooth my skin is after, BTW, I still have 1 bottle as back up, you can understand how much I love it now
  • foreo Luna Mini 3 (link): one of my favourite beauty machine brands, too bad that my skin is quite fragile at the moment and basically I can’t use any beauty machines, but hey, you can! When I could use them, I did really like foreo ones, it’s not abrasive and it’s effective

Makeup

  • Urban Decay All Nighter – Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray (Link): a great makeup setting spray if you have oily skin and you want your makeup to stay put
  • Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer (link): a very famous concealer and it’s lightweight, easy to blend, yet with very good coverage. I use it on under-eye, spots, pigmentation, redness, you name it, it does the job without being cake-y too
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Singles Day Soft Glam Set with Lip Gloss Vintage Mini (link): I love this palette and now it comes with a mini lip gloss and mascara, very useful. I love this because it really creates that soft glam look, but I can use it for day to day as well, the quality of the eyeshadows is amazing too
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette (link): if you don’t enjoy such a big palette but you do like the colour of the above, then this one is for you, they came out with a smaller palette but still carries the soft glam vibe
  • Too Faced Pumpkin Spice Warm & Spicy Eye Shadow Palette (link): I don’t have this one but I have a few of their similar palettes, the eyeshadow quality is nice and this has such vibrant and happy colours, I think it’s worth your attention
  • Too Faced Born This Way Eye Shadow Palette (link): I have this one and I love it, it has both matte and shimmery shades and the tone is very coherent, it’s great for glam or day to day use
  • It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better™ CC+™ Cream SPF 50+ (link): a very well known item and I personally love it as well, it’s exactly what the name says – your skin but better! I use it as a foundation (though it’s a cc cream) and sunscreen, it gives me the coverage and sun protection I need. Super convenient
  • Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Primer – Hydrating Face Primer (link): I used this recently and it’s such a lovely hydrating primer, it’s just too bad that most of us are not having a full face of makeup due to Covid-19, but on the days that I do, I really enjoy this because it gives my skin the hydration it needs without being overwhelming, plus my makeup lasts longer
  • Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder (link): if you want to find an affordable loose powder that will make your skin look and feel smooth, this is the one
  • Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder (link): another loose powder if you want a bit of a colour correct function. I used this long time ago and still I think it’s one of the best colour correct loose powder out there at the moment, not to mention the powder is finely milled too

Hair Care & Others

  • Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo (link): it smells great, it washes well and it replenishes nutrients to hair
  • Olaplex No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner (link): considering it was derived from their famous treatment, this is not too heavy, but it does make hair smoother and easier to manage, not to mention I really enjoy the lovely scent
  • Dyson Re-engineered Dyson Supersonic™ (link): out of all the Dyson hair products, I have to say I only want to recommend the Supersonic to you all, it’s an effective hair dryer, and it greatly reduces your hair drying time. I have mine for years and I still love using it, it’s worth the money considering how much time you have saved
  • GHD Curve Soft Curl Tong (link): I don’t curl my hair much, but when I do, this is my go to, it makes hair smooth and bouncy and the curls last better whenever I use this
  • Slip Queen Size Pillowcase (link): a silk pillowcase, yes! It’s very soft to the skin and to the hair, and it doesn’t “absorb” back the goodness that you have put onto your skin and hair, plus, when you wake up, you won’t get those crazy pillow lines on your face, so I have to recommend it

Well, a lot of words and not much pictures but I am really happy with the list and it certainly makes me feel like a beauty blogger/ vlogger again. I am proud to be able to pick out quite a few items within such a short time to share with you. Hope you find it useful. We probably will talk again here very shortly considering many sites are doing Black Friday Sale. Cheers.
