Hakme Recommendation List

Skincare & Body Care

  • Carmex, Classic Lip Balm, Medicated (link): I love this lip balm and I go back to it from time to time, it’s affordable, moisturising and doesn’t create any allergies on me, I usually use this one at night
  • Carmex, Classic Lip Balm, Medicated, SPF 15 (link): for morning, I like a bit of sun protection on my lips and I would go for this one, the texture is a bit lighter
  • Carmex, Comfort Care, Colloidal Oatmeal Lip Balm, Watermelon Blast (link): this one is my newly discovered favourite, I love the Colloidal Oatmeal because it’s great in soothing eczema and since my lips would be irritated from time to time, this comes in very handy. I love the watermelon scent as well, very refreshing
  • Leven Rose, 100% Pure & Organic Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil (link): also a new favourite and it just comes back in stock. If you have itchy skin, eczema or even allergies and other skincare seems to irritate your skin big time, you need this in your live. It’s great for soothing itchiness, allergies, eczema and burn. Apply on the affected area as a moisturiser or even on your whole face, it’s oil, so it’s going to be oily but it doesn’t create more breakouts. This has been a delightful item in my recent routine
  • Cetaphil, Pro, Soothing Wash, Dry Skin (link): right, still on the topic on eczema and sensitive skin, if your body is as sensitive as mine, you would want to try this body wash (especially if you have eczema too), it’s not drying and it’s not going to irritate your skin even further. Try it and thank me later
  • Nubian Heritage, Body Wash, Raw Shea Butter (link): a good old favourite and out of the whole brand, Raw Shea Butter line is the one that I would repurchase and repurchase again. This is a great body wash if you have dry skin, Mr Honey and I used up so many bottles but whenever Autumn and Winter hits, we tend to stock up on them again
  • Nubian Heritage, Raw Shea Butter, Hand & Body Scrub (link): see, another great product within the range, this body scrub is quite moisturising too, so not only your skin is very smooth after using this, it’s also moisturised, kinda killing two birds with one stone
  • Nubian Heritage, Raw Shea Butter Infused with Shea Butter (link): a heavier body cream, this is only good if you have dry skin, otherwise you are going to hate it. I personally love it during the drier months and it does make my skin very supple and smooth

Food & Drinks

  • Popchips, Potato Chips, Crazy Hot (link): there are not many snacks would get my attention, but this is one. It’s spicy and that’s why I love it! If you are looking for spicy chips, give this one a go and you might be surprised
  • Yogi Tea, Purely Peppermint, Caffeine Free (link): I love tea and one of my favourite tea is peppermint because it soothes the tummy and it helps with digestion after eating, not to mention I love the smell. I love this brand because the peppermint is “strong” and it’s super soothing, it’s also decaf, so I can drink at night without worrying the caffeine would keep me awake
  • Navitas Organics, Organic Cacao Powder (link): if you cook and bake, you could use this for your cooking, I don’t cook, so I add this into my coffee and I love the cocoa scent. Also cocoa does have a lot of health benefits, so that’s a bonus
  • Wholesome, Organic Honey (link): honey is another must-have at home during Autumn/ Winter, sometimes it just gets really dry that I like to add it into my tea or water, I like the convenient packaging and the taste of this one

Supplements

  • Now Foods, Probiotic-10, 50 Billion (link): I don’t take a lot of supplements because I don’t believe in overloading the system, out of the few that I take, Probiotic is one of them. I have been taking this one recently and so far so good
  • Sprout Living, Simple Protein, Organic Plant Protein, Pumpkin Seed (link): sometimes I do a smoothie or whatever and I like to have extra protein in my drink, this one is plant based and it tastes really nice
  • California Gold Nutrition, Vitamin C Gummies (link): I feel like a kid every time I talk about this, because I don’t like to take “medicine-looking” supplement if I have a choice, so I usually opt for the gummy version. It’s like having a candy with no stress
  • California Gold Nutrition, B Complex Gummies (link): and we all need B complex as well, so here is another gummy format

Voila, that’s it! Hopefully this list is helpful and inspires you to try something new.
