雪花秀人蔘潔面乳用後感：一開始幾好用，點解用到第二個星期要停用？ (MY THOUGHTS)

Washing your face is the very first step of skincare, and finding a cleanser that actually fits your skin type is so important. Recently, I’ve been testing the Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cleansing Foam.
I used it for a couple of weeks, and while it performed quite well at the beginning, my skin started reacting during the second week. Today, I just want to share a simple review of its texture and why it might not be the best option for sensitive skin types like mine.
FOAMING POWER & THE FIRST WEEK EXPERIENCE (TEXTURE & FIRST WEEK)
Let’s start with the texture. It comes as a cream/paste in the tube, and it forms up really nicely when you add a bit of water, creating a nice and comforting foam.
During the first week of using it, I actually quite enjoyed it. It cleans the skin thoroughly, and it’s not super drying or stripping at all. Most notably, my face looked slightly brighter right after washing. Overall, the initial experience was really nice.
THE SECOND WEEK & THE REASON FOR DISCONTINUING (THE REACTION & INGREDIENT ISSUE)
However, by the second week, my skin started experiencing some changes.
I noticed small spots popping up on my face here and there, and they just kept coming back. Since this cleanser was the only new product I had introduced to my routine at the time, I decided to stop using it, and my skin cleared up. To be fair, I tried it one more time later on, but the exact same thing happened—I broke out again.
Thinking about it, the reason likely lies in its key ingredient: Ginseng. Ginseng is known to increase blood circulation, which can be great for normal skin. However, since I already have sensitive skin and cope with rosacea, anything that stimulates blood flow or dilates blood vessels can easily irritate my skin barrier, resulting in those small breakouts.
