It’s been a long while since I seriously did a blog post, maybe around 2 years? I did bits and pieces from time to time but it was never anything major! Every time, I want to sit down, think about what to write, then something not too pleasant would visit me in life. It’s like a curse in some ways, but this time the difference is – I am determined to break that curse!

What Happened?
As you might know, my Dad’s health is like a rollercoaster for the past few years due to old age. Interestingly, whenever I think, “oh now I have time to envision the future of my website, maybe I should sit down and brainstorm…”, a few days later, I would get a call that he would need my immediate attention, so things always need to give. I am not going to deep dive into his conditions, because it’s not the intention of this post (it’s something I need to deal with on my own). All I want to tell you is that this time is no different, but what’s different is my mentality.
When Life Throws You Lemons, Make Lemonade!
This time around, I still feel negative emotions (I am only human) but I am determined to channel that energy into something positive – counting my blessings, making my Daddy proud and building something positive. Blogging/ writing has always given me the peace that I need inside, so it makes perfect sense for me to get back on this platform to add more value to you. I once heard someone said, “yes we all get frustrations from time to time, because this is life! The most important lesson is that you know how to channel your negative energy into positive good ones!” Very well said indeed. This website/ blog, whatever you called it, has accompanied me since 2009 through highs and lows, and I intend to keep it that way going forward.
What to Expect?
Definitely beauty reviews like the old times, but you will also find more beauty news around here, like new releases, current promotions etc. I am hoping to include more fashion looks, news, travel tips, hotel recommendation and restaurant picks as well. Of course, I also will share my personal life with you here whenever I see fit. Does it mean that I am just going to repeat my content from elsewhere to here? Nah, that’s not how I work, it will be fresh content here, but it certainly will compliment my YouTube and other social media platforms. This is the place whereby I will bring everything together to make more sense to you. This is where I started, so this should be the place where a more wholesome view should be projected.
