有留意開日本香氛護理品牌嘅話，一定對 Shiro 唔會陌生。我本身超級鍾意 Earl Grey（伯爵茶）嘅香味，所以今次就入手咗佢哋嘅 Shiro Hair Oil (伯爵茶護髮油)。
當時 BA 仲特別強調呢款護髮油可以「抗熱」，非常適合喺吹頭或者用熱力造型工具之前打底。試用咗一段時間，佢嘅質地的確令我好驚喜，但係對於某類髮質嘅朋友嚟講，佢嘅持久度可能會有個致命傷！今日就同大家詳細拆解下。
輕盈質地與抗熱效果 (TEXTURE & HEAT PROTECTION)
首先講下佢嘅質地，佢真係做得非常出色！好多護髮油搽上頭都會有一種「肥笠笠」或者令頭髮變成一餅嘢黐埋一齊嘅感覺，但呢款 Shiro 護髮油質地超級輕盈。搽完之後，頭髮摸上手好柔軟順滑，完全唔覺得笠，仲會自帶一層好靚嘅自然光澤感。
加上佢有抗熱功效，我平時洗完頭，喺吹乾頭髮或者用直髮夾之前搽少少，確實可以保護髮絲，減低熱力帶來嘅傷害。整體嚟講，佢嘅 Finish 我係俾滿分嘅！
香味與撫平毛躁的「續航力」 (THE LIMITATIONS)
不過，世界上無完美嘅產品，佢都有幾個 Limitation 大家買之前要留意。
第一，係香味嘅持久度。伯爵茶陣味真係好 Fresh、好 Soothing，但佢唔係可以 Keep 到全日嗰種。大約 4 個鐘左右，陣味就會慢慢散去（不過作為天然香氛護髮產品，呢點絕對可以理解）。
第二，亦係最致命嘅缺點——順滑光澤感嘅續航力。如果你本身只係有少少乾嘅普通髮質，佢嘅順滑效果的確可以 Keep 得幾好。但如果你同我一樣，天生有自然捲又容易毛躁，或者係受損極嚴重嘅髮質，呢支護髮油對你嚟講絕對「唔夠力」！
我實測過，搽完佢頭兩個鐘頭髮的確好順滑有光澤，但過咗大約兩個鐘之後，啲頭髮就會開始「打回原形」，變返毛躁同有自然捲，之前嗰種靚靚光澤感都會消失得無影無蹤。

但如果你正為「天生極度毛躁、嚴重自然捲、受損爛髮」而頭痕，希望搵一支可以全日 Keep 住貼服柔順嘅產品，我強烈建議你直接 Skip 咗佢！ 因為佢嘅滋潤度同抗毛躁持久力對你嚟講絕對唔夠，買返去都會失望。

【ENGLISH VERSION】SHIRO EARL GREY HAIR OIL REVIEW: LIGHTWEIGHT & SOOTHING, BUT IS IT ENOUGH FOR FRIZZY HAIR?
If you follow Japanese fragrance and body care brands, you are definitely no stranger to Shiro. I personally love the scent of Earl Grey tea, so I recently picked up the Shiro Hair Oil (Earl Grey scent).
When I was buying it, the BA specifically mentioned that this can combat heat, making it perfect to use before blow-drying or using heating styling tools. After testing it for a while, I am genuinely impressed by its texture, but it has a fatal flaw when it comes to longevity for certain hair types! Let’s break it down today.
WEIGHTLESS TEXTURE & HEAT PROTECTION (TEXTURE & HEAT PROTECTION)
First, let’s talk about the texture—it is absolutely outstanding! Many hair oils leave a greasy, sticky feeling or make your hair clump together. But this Shiro hair oil is incredibly lightweight. After applying it, the hair feels soft to the touch without any stickiness, and it adds a really nice, natural shine.
Since it has heat-protecting properties, applying a little bit before blow-drying or using a straightener effectively protects the hair from heat damage. Overall, I absolutely love the texture and the beautiful finish it gives to the hair!
SCENT & FRIZZ CONTROL LONGEVITY (THE LIMITATIONS)
However, no product is perfect, and there are a few limitations you need to know before buying.
First is the longevity of the scent. The Earl Grey scent is very fresh and soothing, but it doesn’t last all day. It fades after around 4 hours (which is completely understandable for a natural fragrance hair product).
The second, and more crucial limitation, is the longevity of the smoothing and shining effect. If your hair is just a tiny bit dry, the smooth and shiny effect will last on your hair for a much longer time. But if you have naturally wavy and frizzy hair like me, or if you have seriously damaged hair, this hair oil is definitely “not enough” for you!
I tested it out: for the first two hours, my hair looked perfectly smooth and shiny. But within 2 hours, my hair would go a bit frizzy and wavy again, reverting to its original state, and that beautiful shine seemed to be completely gone too.

This is undoubtedly a high-quality hair oil with a beautiful texture and a highly therapeutic scent. If your hair is only slightly dry and you are looking for a lightweight hair oil for heat protection before blow-drying, you will thoroughly enjoy this.
However, if you are struggling with “naturally frizzy, extremely wavy, or seriously damaged” hair and need something that keeps your hair sleek all day, I highly recommend you definitely skip it! Its nourishment and frizz-control longevity will not be “enough” for you, and it would just disappoint you.
