KATE 怪獸級持色唇膏限定色：EX-11 & EX-12 真實試色
KATE 的「怪獸級持色唇膏」(Lip Monster) 紅咗好耐，之前我已經入手過常態色，對佢嘅表現一直都好滿意。所以當我知道佢出咗兩款限定色 EX-11 同 EX-12，身為粉絲當然唔可以錯過，一定要入手試下！
用咗一段時間，想同大家分享下呢兩支限定色有咩特別，同埋值唔值得你去藥妝店尋寶。
質地：潤澤與持久的平衡
再一次用上嘴，個種熟悉嘅驚喜感仲係度。佢個質地好似潤唇膏咁順滑，輕輕一抹就有好靚嘅光澤感，完全唔會卡唇紋。
重點係佢個持色度依然好強。飲水、戴口罩基本都唔點甩色。佢獨特嘅成膜技術真係可以將隻色鎖得好實。
不過有一點要注意，隨著時間過去，當表面個層光澤感退咗之後，個嘴係會開始感覺乾少少。佢唔係個種會令你起死皮既乾，但你會感覺到個嘴無剛上妝時咁水潤。所以如果你本身係乾唇人，建議隨身帶一支透明潤唇膏補擦。
但為咗個種「食完飯仲有色」既安全感，呢一點點乾我係完全可以接受既。
顏色實測：EX-11 vs EX-12
EX-11 闇夜の儀式 (溫柔玫瑰)
呢支係一支**「無腦入手」**既安全色。
佢係好溫柔既玫瑰色，帶少少粉調。無論係素顏定淡妝，搽上佢成個人即刻好精神。如果你返工唔想太誇張，但又想有好氣色，選呢支絕對無死錯人。
EX-12 誓いのルビー (型格透啡)
呢支係我私心最愛！🖤
官方雖然有時會形容佢帶紅，但我上嘴實測，佢係一隻好正宗既啡色 (Brown Tone)。
市面上好多話係「啡色」既唇膏，搽出黎往往都偏紅或者偏橙，但 EX-12 真係做到咗個種酷酷的、冷冷的啡調。
秋冬著件皮褸，或者深色大褸，再搽呢支，真係非常有型。如果你一直搵緊一支「真．啡色」唇膏，一定要試下呢支。
總結：值唔值得入手？
如果你追求既係一支不用經常補妝、顏色又特別既唇膏，KATE 這次的限定色依然維持咗高水準。特別係 EX-12 呢種市面少見既正宗啡色，如果在架上見到仲有貨，真係唔好猶豫。
以開架既價錢黎講，佢既表現甚至超越咗我手邊好多專櫃品牌。我自己已經決定將 EX-12 放係手袋長備啦！
【English Version】KATE Lip Monster Limited Colors: EX-11 & EX-12 Review
KATE’s “Lip Monster” lipstick has been viral for a long time. I have tried their regular shades before and have always been impressed by their performance. So, when I heard about the release of these two limited edition shades, EX-11 and EX-12, I knew I had to get my hands on them!
After using them for a while, I want to share what makes these limited shades special and whether they are worth hunting down.
The Texture: A Balance of Hydration and Longevity
Applying it again reminded me why I liked this line so much. The texture feels just like a lip balm—very smooth, gliding on easily, and creating a beautiful glossy finish that doesn’t settle into lip lines.
The staying power is still top-notch. Drinking water, wearing a mask—it barely budges thanks to its gel-film technology that locks the color in.
One thing to note, however: After a few hours, once the glossy sheen wears off, my lips do start to feel a bit dry. It’s not the kind of dryness that causes peeling, but you definitely lose that initial hydration. So, if you have naturally dry lips, I recommend carrying a clear lip balm for touch-ups.
But for the peace of mind of having long-lasting color that survives a meal? I think the slight dryness is a fair trade-off.
Color Review: EX-11 vs EX-12
EX-11 (Gentle Rose)
This is a “no-brainer” shade.
It is a very gentle rose color with a slight pink undertone. Whether you are bare-faced or wearing light makeup, this shade instantly brightens up your complexion. If you want something office-friendly that makes you look polished but not “too much,” you can’t go wrong with this one.
EX-12 (Cool Brown)
This is my personal favorite! 🖤
While some descriptions might say it has red tones, on my lips, it reads as a proper Brown Tone.
Many lipsticks on the market claim to be “brown” but end up looking reddish or orange when applied. But EX-12 actually delivers that cool, edgy brown vibe.
Pair this with a leather jacket or a dark coat in autumn/winter, and you instantly look stylish. If you have been hunting for a “True Brown” lipstick, you need to try this.
Verdict: Worth the Hunt?
If you are looking for a lipstick that you don’t need to touch up constantly and comes in unique shades, KATE’s limited edition is definitely worth buying. Especially EX-12—it’s rare to find such a proper brown shade at this price point, so if you see it in stock, grab it.
For a drugstore price, it outperforms many luxury brands in my collection. EX-12 has definitely earned a permanent spot in my handbag!
